Our YouthHOPE summer internships are designed to challenge you to grow in intimacy with Christ, to deepen your understanding of global youth work and to give you an opportunity to serve in global youth ministry.

College-age students and older who want to see, understand and pursue God's hope and future for youth globally should consider being a part of this opportunity.

YouthHOPE Summer Internships 2010:

Dates: May 20—July 22. This includes a pre-field orientation, internship experience and debrief.

Cost: Each project costs $5000 and covers all expenses except for travel to the pre-field orientation.

Chile - The focus of the team will be on motivating Chilean Christian youth to go out and make disciples of all nations through missions retreats and sharing in public schools.  They will also encourage, share, and participate in youth ministry through a variety of other opportunities.  The team will be led by a Chilean national who is both fluent in English and Youth Ministry, he is currently the director of training for Youth Specialties Chile.

Malawi - The interns will have the opportunity to serve in one of the world’s poorest countries.  The team will help lead youth camps, teach in youth groups, be a part of some agricultural discipleship/community development projects, and will have the opportunity to share about sex and purity in public schools.

Myanmar – youthHOPE is partnering with Christ in Youth (CIY) to put on the country’s first national youth conference. The team will hit the field immediately following the conference. They will assist with follow-up and also participate in holistic youth development. The team will also have the opportunity to share with local youth groups and encourage national youth workers.

CGO - The team will learn the ins and outs of short-term missions and global youth awareness projects working hand in hand with the youthHOPE development team based out of Florida.  Interns will participate in at least one overseas short-term project and will organize and implement a service project for high school students.

England - Interns serving in England will work alongside missionaries on the field doing relational youth ministry in a variety of different venues striving to make the Church relevant to youth again.  Interns will have the opportunity to share in Christian Unions (similar to FCA’s in the states) with both Jr. and Sr. high students encouraging them to live out their faith in very tough secular school environments.  Interns will also help lay the foundation for a church plant to engage people who aren’t likely to worship with a traditional church.
