At YouthHOPE we offer multiple apprenticeships that give individuals the opportunity to explore their God-given abilities in the home office or in a cross-cultural environment.
What makes a YouthHOPE apprenticeship different?
TIME FRAME: Apprenticeships are up to one year in length
LOCATION FLEXIBILITY: Apprenticeships are uniquely designed for the individual participant or team
LEARN WHILE SERVING: The goal is to enhance the long-term ministry of the global youth workers apprentices go to learn and serve.
SUPPORT RAISING: All apprentices raise their own support just like all of YouthHOPE’s development team or global youth workers.
TRAINING AND DEBRIEF: Each apprenticeship begins with a 2 week pre-field orientation and ends with a post-field debriefing.

Sarah Waddell-Short-term Projects Apprentice“I had the opportunity to do an apprenticeship with YouthHOPE for a period of six months… I was able to go on two short-term projects during my apprenticeship to Haiti and Costa Rica. While on these projects, I participated in youth leader trainings, a youth retreat, teaching English in schools and getting to know, serve and learn from the people there. During my time with YouthHOPE, I was able to observe and learn how to plan and carry out a short-term project.
