I have always thought about this and how we need to throw out half of our things anyways because people just don't use all that they have. I've noticed our churches efforts on pushing students towards service have had limited success, maybe a shift in focus could cause a select few to fully embrace living it. Our Malawi intern teams usually end up talking about sex often, because the national youth workers ask them to. In there culture you just don't talk about sex. They see the need for it though, so they capitalize on having an outsider - they can talk about it and its normal.
