Youth Camps and Conferences Trainer
Location: Southeast Asia (creative access country)
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, Youth Ministry experience
Skills Preferred: Experience raising support, ministering cross-culturally, and/or training youth workers
YouthHOPE in partnership with Christ in Youth (CIY) has established the first ever national youth worker training conference in Southeast Asia. It is an experiential conference designed to train national youth workers on how to put on effective camps and conferences. Work with missionaries to plan for next year’s conference and help to raise funds in country! The goal of this project is to move toward being fully self sustainable by 2013.

Skills Preferred: Entrepreneurial/Self-Starter, gifted in teaching, previous cross-cultural teaching experience, gifted in project management
Work within established network of planted churches training youth workers in holistic youth ministry principles, and teaching students about youth ministry at a Bible institute. Network with other denominations and key church leaders to create national youth worker training conference, and help establish income generating youth projects that church youth groups can get involved in to provide jobs for youth and income for other youth ministry projects.

Train Kenyan youth in leadership positions within the ministry while partnering with them in ministry projects. Also, disciple local youth leaders to better reach the youth in their country and work to create a curriculum to train youth workers.
