Aaron Arnold
Executive Director & Founder
Aaron has served in youth ministry for the last 19 years, both in the United States and in Santiago, Chile. He is the founder, vision caster and executive director of YouthHOPE, a ministry of New Mission Systems International. Aaron holds a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies from Cincinnati Christian University as well as a Masters in Youth Ministry Leadership from Huntington University. Aaron is the husband of Angie and the father of Mazie and Sofia, and they have been affiliated with NMSI since 2003.
Angie Arnold
Office Manager and Communications Coordinator
Angie is the wife of Aaron Arnold, YouthHOPE’s executive director and mom of Mazie and Sofia. She is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University with a B.A. in Christian Education. Angie joined the YouthHOPE team in January of 2012 after spending two years working for Headstart and has experience teaching English as a Foreign Language in Chile. She thoroughly enjoys working with children of all ages so she feels very comfortable joining the YH development team. The Arnolds have been affiliated with NMSI since 2004.
Katie DeBusk
Apprentice with YouthHOPE
Katie grew up in Colorado Springs playing baseball and loving the mountains! She went on her first short-term mission trip to Mexico as a freshman in high school and God has been positioning her for long-term overseas missions ever since. Katie attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a degree in International Studies with an emphasis on Social and Cultural issues in Africa. She has a passion for youth and Africa and has a vision to see youth trained and equipped to take the transforming power of Christ to their families and communities.
Kyle Duncan
Assistant Director
Kyle has ministered for 10 years in a variety of contexts, both in the United States and the United Kingdom. Originally from central Kentucky, he affiliated with NMSI in 2007. After moving to the East Midlands he partnered with local churches and schools around Leicester and pioneered a new ministry in NW Leicestershire. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Literature from Ozark Christian College and joined the YouthHOPE team in 2010. Kyle is the husband of Mindy and the father of Oscar and Abel.
Miguel Angel Faundez
Director of Training
Miguel is a “hot” Latino member of YH`s team. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University and has worked in youth ministry for over a decade in Chile and USA. He is passionate about giving resources and training to those serving young people globally. He is the editor for Zondervan-Vida, a publishing company that produces resources for leaders in all Spanish-speaking countries, and is part of the International Team of Youth Specialties where he is an active speaker. His focus now is creating partnerships and training programs for youth leaders around the globe.
Justin Hanneken
Director of Outreach
Justin trusted Jesus as a teenager in 1999. He served as youth pastor of Taneytown Baptist Church from 2003-2011. Justin holds a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Maryland Baltimore County, and has almost finished his Masters in Youth Ministry Leadership from Huntington University. He loves short term missions, spending time with the poor and teaching Truth to teenagers. Justin is husband to Karena and father of Gloria Diem, Bryce Avary and Kenzi Sophia. They are excited to be a part of the YouthHOPE development team!
Josh Kaminsky
Global Youth Worker Support & Development
Josh grew up in Orlando, Florida and gave his life to Christ when he was 14 years old. He then graduated from Milligan College with a degree in Missions. It was 2009 when Josh joined NMSI and heard about YouthHOPE. Having a passion for both youth and overseas ministry, this was the perfect fit (like Oreos and Milk!). Josh is passionate about standing up and being a voice for those who are oppressed by the injustices of this world. Josh is engaged to the beautiful Sarah Waddell and is looking forward to spending the rest of his life with her.
Brittany Miller
Internship Coordinator and Human Trafficking Educator
Brittany is from St. Cloud, Florida and loves playing on the water and mountains! She graduated from Montreat College with a degree in Outdoor Ministry. Through her experience at Montreat and working for the camp ministry of Snowbird, God really began cultivating a heart for missions, youth, and fighting injustice. After interning with YouthHope to Cambodia, she was excited to see how God has blend all of these passions together.
Sarah Waddell
Development Team Staff
Sarah grew up in Prince Edward Island, Canada where she enjoyed the beaches in the summer and playing in the snow in the winter. She studied youth ministry at Kingswood College. Since doing an apprenticeship with YouthHope in 09 she got hooked on the whole idea of global youth ministry. I have a passion for youth to find their identity in Christ. It is a blessing to see youth get a glimpse of the hope and potential that they have to make real change in the world. She is engaged to her best friend Joshua Kaminsky and is looking forward to their wedding.
Britney Sue Zeller
Apprentice with YouthHOPE
Britney is a graduate from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Exercise Science/Public Health. God began cultivating a passion for missions & discipleship in her heart through an international student ministry at her college. After 3 years of living life alongside international students, she interned with YouthHOPE to Cambodia. She has now joined YouthHOPE as an apprentice for the next year & hopes to someday unite her passions for sports & discipleship for campus ministry overseas.
