YouthHOPE exists to transform the lives of global youth by equipping the church to meet their holistic needs. We partner with local churches around the world to minister to and to equip them to minister to youth. This looks different from place to place around the world due to the specific needs and assets in each community. In some contexts we are simply doing training and trying to persuade the church and local leaders to care about the specific needs of youth. In other contexts, we are establishing national youth conferences, creating income generating projects to fund youth ministries and provide jobs for youth, translating youth ministry books into the local language, and training youth ministry trainers. We also focus on mobilizing people to go, live incarnationally, and work among the youth in need around the world.
The YouthHOPE team is made up of the development team, global youth workers, partners, and supporters. Global youth workers are missionaries engaged in full-time localized youth ministry. The development team is based out of the home office in Fort Myers, FL and works to advance current YouthHOPE projects and support the global youth workers who are spread around the world.
